Nottingham National Jazz Piano Competition 2008.

From the original twelve semi finalists, the judges selected four pianists who performed at the Nottingham Albert Hall on Sunday 27th July.

The finalists were

Sam Hogarth,  Tom Hewson, Dan Whieldon and Chris Donnelly.

After four fantastic performances the judges took over 30 minutes to decide who would be awarded the first prize.
